Hajira,12 jun 2016:Jammu kashmir peoples National party ( JKPNP) has announced a “save Baba Jan 
campaign ” ,a progressive youth leader from Gilgit Baltistan. A local court has issued an order of 25 years imprisonment for Baba Jan and his colleagues. JKPNP also has announced today that party will launch an another campaign against AJK government proposed “Services Act “which will deprive government employees to have right of protest and form a union being government employees . This campaign will be launched nationally and internationally. Party has given a protest call on June 24th in this regard. Save Baba Jan campaign will also be launched nationally and internationally. Party has directed to its international committee to fulfill its responsibilities abroad. Party sectary General Aftab Ahmed has made this announcement in a press conference yesterday. JKPNP sectary General has said that Baba Jan and his comrades have been struggling for the rights of local people but Pakistani Rulers, being fearful of their struggle, are trying to stop them through violence. Aftab Ahmed also said that some elements are trying to market this protest against their imprisonment. Due to this, sincere political workers have been crushed. That’s why our party has announced this campaign. Jkpnp sectary General has appealed to all freedom loving and progressive forces , civil society members from Gilgit Baltistan , Indian occupied Jammu Kashmir and AJK to come and join this campaign so that sincere and oppressed Baba Jan and his colleagues could be saved. Aftab Ahmed said that court system though their bread and butter is aligned with Ministry of Kashmir Affairs .Is being operated under Pakistani ruling classes always protect their master’s interests .But not common man .Aftab Ahmed said that ruling class of Pakistan and their puppets in AJK and GB are being pressurized from people’s struggle .That,s why they banned on student’s union so that educated,well trained leaders would not come in front. When local council system started producing gross root leadership , councils elections were banned. Now employees unions have been banned by imposing services act so that they could not demand their rights. He said that JKPNP would not accept any kind of such dictatorial act and protest against it. Party will launch a peoples campaign against it and party has formed its committees at district level and will launch a protest with the help of employees organizations.
